Symbio’s relationship with VMS started in 2021 in response to receiving a cyber-attack. Our immediate focus was to ensure that they could get access to all business-critical systems and become operational.
VMS’s former IT service provider got attacked by the ransomware “Crypto-locker”. As a result, they lost access to all of VMS’s data and systems for a significant period of time. With no recourse, VMS came to Symbio upon being offline for 3 days with no access to their email, website, applications, and further, no communications from their current provider. VMS was in the dark.

Symbio rapidly deployed Cloud Desktops, email services, hosting, disaster recovery & helpdesk support services along with Enterprise-grade malware and threat protection.
VMS was able to get back online within a day of Symbio taking action allowing VMS to gain access to their files and emails. In addition, like all Symbio clients, VMS was pleased to know that they would now be protected from any additional ransomware cyber-attacks.
